Jake is moving in.

Peyton was huffing and puffing with the junk that she and Jake were lugging onto the porch...What the hell did he even have in these boxes?

Peyton swiped at her brow as a trickle of sweat came down...She had just finished with Jake putting all the boxes from her car onto the porch of her house and she was exhausted...

She looked out to her car and saw that there was still more boxes in the car, and was enjoying the view of Jake's behind as he swaggered to the car to get the rest.....She felt at peace...for the moment, though she felt the icky sensation that someone was watching fromt somewhere.

Gosh, Jake hadn't realized how much crap he had brought with him. But Peyton was being a good sport, helping him move the boxes out of the trunk. Her arms though thin were quite strong. He admired that strength that she had about her. "Hey, I got the last box," he shouted at Peyton. He closed the trunk of her car and wiped the sweat off his forehead.

Peyton was now sitting on her porch swing and swinging...She was too tired to bring any other boxes inside from the porch...It could wait...

When Jake placed the box next to the others, Peyton patted the swing and gave a small smile..."Lets rest for a bit..."

"All right" Jake said smiling. He could definitely use a break. He was glad to have some alone time with Peyton. His parents had offered to keep Jenny for the night while they moved in so they could focus on that instead of Jenny. Jenny would come to Peyton's house in a few days.

[Olivia Porter]

Olivia felt a tug of her dog's leash as the small puppy squatted next to a near by bush. In the background she could hear people talking and as she looked up, she realized it was Jake and Peyton "Hey guys"

"Hey Olivia" Jake called out. What a coincidence. They seemed to be running into each other a lot. "We're just moving me in." "Well, actually, right now we're taking a break." *laughs*

"My mom always encouraged breaks" Olivia said with a laugh. He seemed to her that Peyton wouldn't be letting Jake move with her if she didn't have the same feelings as he did. Olivia was glad atleast one person she knew's life was getting better. Unlike the situation with her. She was counting down the days until her mom told her about a divorce.

Jake put his arm around Peyton's and squeezed her shoulder. "We have been doing a lot of heavylifting." "This one especially."Jake said fondly. "Well, we'll see you later. Bye."

Olivia waved goodbye to them and kept walking ahead.

Peyton looked around her porch smiling, everything seemed to be okay for the moment...

She turned her head to Jake and asked, " So what does the famous Jake want to do this evening?" Just then her phone rang and she glanced down towards the phone, it was an unfamiliar number but she answered anyway...

It was a guy named Derek, who got the number from Brooke, and Lucas was in the hospital....Peyton said to him she would be on her way and turned to Jake with tears in her eyes...

"Lucas is in the hospital, we have to call Haley, and Nathan, and we have to get to the hospital..."

Jake took her hand, and she gave him the keys, and Peyton dialed Haley's cell....

She was silently praying as she got into the car with Jake....

Peyton was crying a bit as she talked, but she was able to get it out to Haley that Lucas in the hospital...His had a heart attack and that he was in the ICU, and that Brooke was already there......

Peyton said she was with Jake and that the two would meet them at the hospital...

Peyton hung up and turned to Jake and saw that he had her hand still and he lifted her hand to kiss it, and he looked worriedly at her and gave her hand a squeeze....

"C'mon Peyton, I'm sure Luc is gonna be fine" "Let's go, I'll drive"

Who the hell was knocking on Peyton's door this late? They walked downstairs and reached the door. He looked through the peep hole and saw it was that freaking psycho. That little shit. "Peyton, go call the cops. It's that creep who keeps stalking you."

Peyton's eyes hot huge, and she was a bit confused, what would the guy want at her house this late? Peyton shook her head...."We should see what he wants first Jake...What if he is here to tell us an update on Lucas? He did help Brooke get Lucas to the hospital..."

Peyton didnt want to call the cops unless she knew he was a threat first...."Jake...." Jake was not paying attention to her, instead he was opening the closet door, and taking out a bat....Oh man those bats are never a good sign, Peyton thought to herself, and she held her hand out to Jake...Trying to stop him....
